Drunk no more.

I went Zouk on Wednesday and got drunk. It used to be the fact that I was proud of my drinking ability. I still can take alcohol quite well now. But why am I abusing my body? No longer will I abuse my body like this. I am quiting for good.

There is nothing a good run or shower can’t solve.
Even when I felt lethargic on my running days, I still force myself to go for it. Because I know that I will feel pumped up again after the run.
When I am faced with a tough challenge ahead, I’ll take a hot shower and the problem does not seem that tough anymore.

A lot of feelings and thoughts are self created; especially bad ones. All you have to do is find your own way to snap yourself out of it.

Living life in regret.

I don’t think that it is ever possible to live life without regrets.

The regrets you are feeling right now are the effects of your past actions. So, how do we stop this cycle? By treasuring every second, every opportunity in life. If you have that special someone you have been in love with for a few years, confess your love now. If you had always wanted to go skydiving, apply for leave and book your air ticket now. Although we cannot remove regrets from our lives, we are minimize it.

So stop hoping for a change because the only way change is going to happen is when you take action. Just hoping will not make anything happen. You will be surprised by how much you can achieve by just taking the first step.

My weight has not been dropping much even though I have been running intervals every alternate day. It must mean I am still eating too much or I am also gaining muscles in the running process; since muscles are heavier than fats. (=

Well, as long as I don’t stop the program, I will keep losing weight, sooner or later. My aim is to be fitter than I was when I was in National Service.

The Great Wave Off Kanagawa

Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) created this extraordinary picture around 1831. It depicts an enormous wave threatening boats near the Japanese prefecture of Kanagawa; Mount Fuji can be seen in the background. The wave is probably not intended to be a tsunami, but a normal ocean wave created by the wind. Like the other prints in the series, it depicts the area around Mount Fuji under particular conditions.

Man, the wall in my bedroom looks so ugly now. It used to be filled with posters, but some kept dropping while some I don’t love anymore. Well, that explains why there are so many empty spaces on it.

I took everything down and decided to rasterize a picture of The Great Wave Off Kanagawa with the Rasterbator.
