I had always been a lover of the rain. I love how the rain cools the day. And the sleepy mood it puts me in; making me wanna hide under my blanket and cuddle with my bolster pillow. (I would of course choose to cuddle with my girlfriend, if I have one that is…)
Judging by the weather these few days, I should actually be very happy. However that couldn’t be further than the truth.
The rain had jeopardized my running schedule. Before today, I had not been running for 3 consecutive days. Instead of doing cardio exercise, since it is raining, I opted to exercise my mouth instead. The 2KG I’ve lost might have already piled right back into my tummy… Frankly, I am afraid to stand back up onto the weighing scale.

Women in jeans ‘cannot be raped’
Italy’s highest court has ruled that a woman wearing jeans cannot be raped.
The Supreme Court of Appeal in Rome on Wednesday overturned a rape conviction, saying that the supposed victim must have agreed to sex because her jeans could not have been removed without her consent.

A court in the southern town of Potenza had convicted a driving instructor of raping his 18-year-old pupil.
The instructor, aged 45 and identified only as Carmine, had been sentenced to 34 months’ jail.
His defence had argued that the young woman – identified as Rosa – had consented to sex, a version of events which the woman strongly denied.
The Supreme Court ruled that it was impossible to remove a pair of jeans “without the collaboration of the person wearing them”, and that the young woman must therefore have consented to sex.
In a judgement likely to anger women’s rights organisations, the rape conviction was reversed.
Driving instructors in Italy have a reputation, deserved or undeserved, for molesting young female pupils, and the case appeared at first to be a familiar story of sexual assault on a lonely country road.

After she was crowned Miss Singapore in 2000, I had the chance to see her host an event at Paragon Shopping Centre. And frankly, I was not impressed. I felt that she did not exude any aura of a beauty queen.
But before you go blasting me for being a shallow guy, just let me say this, a lot have changed since then.
Eunice (can I call her on a first name basis?), Miss Olsen is now my dream girl. She is just like an onion, peeling off every layer reveals a new her. She has the looks, the brains and the heart. It may not be love at first sight, but I sure am glad that she is getting a lot of limelight so I can see more of her.
I can’t explain enough how much I am attracted to brainy girls. I am quite attracted to news anchors too. (=
